Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born November 18 of 1985 located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a primary school teacher in Balboa Magnet. Felix was a natural athlete and discovered her love for sprinting in the sprints at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Only 10 weeks after her first attempt, she finished 2nd in the 200 meters at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix finished high school and subsequently signed an agreement to Adidas. In 2004 she began her studies at her first year at the University of Southern California, in the area of elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic prize at the 2004 Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200m in 22.18s which set an all-time junior world record. She became the youngest world athlete to win the 200 meters in the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007 by beating her time-tested Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix had a steady performance in London, Beijing Rio de Janeiro, and Tokyo. She consistently placed in the top three of every event.
